" Falling Leaves" Wallpaper

Evoking feelings of peace and inspiration, there is something poetic about the “falling leaves” wallpaper. The organic pattern is serene, yet kinetic, like being enveloped by a forest of raining leaves.

We created our wallpaper from one of our favorite botanical prints - the purple leaf plum, native to Virginia. The silk absorbs different pigments from the leaf and creates a very textural-looking print, with a lot of depth and variation of color. Elizabeth loves the pattern so much, that we created a digital version of the print from an image of the dyed silk.
