How do I care for Leizu Collection pieces?
Silk is among the strongest natural fibers; treat your pieces with care and they will last. Hand Wash in cool water, with gentle detergent. Air dry in the shade, Do not tumble dry. You may Iron from barely damp on reverse side on a low setting, but it’s not necessary, as wrinkles will soften with use.

Will colors of the floral / botanical imprinted Leizu Collection fade?
We find that with proper care and conditions, colors and prints do last. However, over time and because your pillowcase is your most heavily used possession, colors and prints may soften. We encourage you to embrace the evolution.

Do you use chemicals in your dye process?
Rest assured, knowing that we do not use chemical or synthetic dyes. We use mordants to help with light and colorfastness and then flowers, leaves, vinegar and steam. We want to bring beauty into your home and that does not include the use of harmful substances.

Is silk a sustainable fabric?
Sericulture (cultivation of silkworms to produce silk) has limited environmental impact . The production of silk fibers from the cocoons requires nothing more than boiling water (or steam). It is a low-tech industry with no chemicals or high-tech engineering required in the process and therefore has almost zero energy footprint and satisfies most guidelines for sustainable fabric production. Silk is one of the strongest natural fibers, therefore our products made from silk will stand the test of time and eventually, will biodegrade.

Shipping?
Stocked Items that are available for purchase will be shipped within 72 hours, whenever possible. We will contact you via the email address you provide, should any shipping delay occur and once your item(s) is ready to be shipped we will provide you with a tracking number for your delivery. If you have special delivery instructions, or have any questions about the shipment of your order, please email us at info@elizabethfew.com.
For items that are made to order, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. We will contact you once your items is ready to be shipped and provide you with tracking information at the time of shipment.

Do you do Returns?
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may request a return authorization to return your items in exactly the way in which they were received. Requests for a return authorization must be made within 48 hours of receipt of your order. Please email us at info@elizabethfew.com with your request. Upon approval, and receipt of returned items, we will then refund the purchase price of your item, minus the shipping charges. All returns must be sent to our studio at 2518 Grove Ave. Suite 3 Richmond, VA 23220. Please provide us with a tracking number via email to info@elizabethfew.com. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged packages.
