Rose Quart is a symbol of Aphrodite's beauty, did you know? It is also a symbol of her waiting for spring, when she can be with her lover. Perhaps, in the same way that rose quartz forms it's crystals under intense pressure, winter is when she becomes. I always come back to the circle when I need answers, as the process is meditative. Hand-dyed silk hemp is cut into individual circles ( again, by hand) and pinned down in overlapping layers. She looks delicate, but she's powerful.
Framed & floating, casting a shadow on the mat, she will be a show stopper.
