Gee's Bend Forever. I am humbled by the incredible wisdom, courage and talent of the quilters of Gee's Bend and when I need to feel grounded, I come back to the classic geometry of the housetop quilt. This miniature quilt is made from silk that I hand-dyed with roses, carnations and eucalyptus and has a array of stitching that reflects my love of craft. Silk charmeuse and hemp are blended to create a perfect balance of celestial shimmer and humble texture.

* Our custom frame option is a white gallery frame with museum glass. The piece is expertly mounted to float slightly above the mat and the glass is barely detectable, allowing the viewer to feel an intimate connection to the textile.
